Trip to HuaLian

Visiting Claire in HuaLian last week. I haven't cooked for almost 4 months, finally got a chance to have the kitchen for my own. I don't like to cook in my parents'. The kitchen is my mom's territory, things have to be done in certain ways. I made steaks with onion and black paper sauce, fried rice noodles (but Claire picked aside the nicely julian-cut veggies). A huge pot of beef stew (so she can eat them after I leave) and pork bone soup with Chinese medicine. How nice, I like to cook for my friends.
It is still so hard to believe that Claire has become a mother, the way she takes care of her son is just like how she deals with any other events in life. She is very confident and methodogical. Once the rythm is caught and routine is set, nothing is difficult to achieve.
